Hi Pragati! We’re excited to meet you and learn more about your Pinterest journey.

I’m a Senior Strategic Partner Manager on the Global Content Team. I’ve been working at Pinterest for two and a half years and truly enjoy every second of it. I live in sunny Singapore, and in my spare time, I play tennis, do podcasts with friends and hunt for new cool brunch places.

What inspires you about working at Pinterest?

It’s a combination of several factors. First and foremost, my work itself—no two days are the same. My role is the perfect amalgamation of creative and strategic work, which aligns with my personality. Secondly, it’s the people, especially my team. I’m surrounded by some of the most amazing, intelligent and empathetic individuals, making my time at Pinterest much more fun. Honestly, I refer to my colleagues as my ‘happiness enablers’ because that’s exactly what they are. Lastly, Pinterest has an excellent work-life balance and ample opportunities for growth—everything you could ask for in a company.

You recently embarked on a new journey. Can you share more about becoming a Global Lead for our Women@ Pinclusion Group and what you’re most looking forward to?

Honestly, it’s been one of the best experiences at Pinterest. I’m passionate about representation and inclusion, and I’ve been involved in local activations for Women@ since I joined Pinterest. I’m thrilled to get an opportunity to co-lead our global Women@ Pinclusion Group with other fantastic leads and be a part of strategies that would help us build a stronger community, provide more opportunities and make the community feel even more inclusive.

I’m eager to bridge gaps between different regions, enhance inclusivity, work on more learning opportunities and collaborate with other employee resource groups alongside my fellow co-leads to build an outstanding Women@ community.

How would you describe Pinterest Singapore? What would you tell someone who’s interested in joining the team?

Imagine a place where you can learn a lot, create amazing things and collaborate across APAC—and sometimes globally. Picture working in a positive environment that offers excellent work-life balance, with a brilliant team, in a city that’s always sunny. That’s how I would describe Pinterest Singapore. We truly are a small but mighty team!

If you’re interested in joining us, I’d say, come and help us build a positive corner of the internet. Be open to learning, adapting and excelling, and you’ll be amazed at all the interesting work you’ll get to do. You’ll be surprised by how often you hear, ‘Oh, I love your app,’ and it will truly make your day. Lastly, if you’re looking to learn from some of the best people in the business and want to work with a leader who leads by example, Pinterest Singapore is the place for you.

What are you currently Pinning?

I am a fashion girly, so currently I’m Pinning all the summer trends on Pinterest – from pajama pants to mixed metallic jewelry.
