Juno Jiang recently relocated from China to Singapore to begin a new career journey as a Sr. Client Partner at Pinterest. Now part of the Greater China Sales team, she helps Chinese brands connect with global audiences through inspiration-led ideas and meaningful business opportunities. In this conversation, Juno shares what drew her to Pinterest, what a typical day in her life is like, and how a collaborative culture makes every new idea feel possible.
Hi Juno! You started at Pinterest in March 2026. What first drew you to the opportunity, and what made you decide to take the leap to join Pinterest in Singapore?
My career has always been closely connected to helping Chinese businesses grow internationally, from e-commerce to gaming and short-dramas, so Pinterest was already familiar to me.
When I worked with e-commerce clients, many described Pinterest as a “high value media channel.” Later, when gaming and short-form drama clients also began talking about Pinterest, I realised that the platform was expanding quickly into new industries and opportunities. When I saw that the Greater China Region Sales team was hiring, I spoke with friends at Pinterest and was drawn to their description of a positive, passionate, and highly professional culture. I felt that same energy throughout the interview process.
Singapore also felt like a natural choice. Its open, multicultural environment allows me to stay close to the fast-changing Chinese market while working closely with global teams. I enjoy a life full of opportunity and challenge, and joining Pinterest in Singapore felt like an exciting next chapter.
As a member of the Greater China Sales team, how would you describe your role and the work that you do to bring value to advertisers?
As a member of the Greater China Agency Team, my core focus is working closely with sales partners in China to help more Chinese brands grow successfully in global markets.
Our sales partners have a deep understanding of local market trends, clients’ business priorities, and the practical challenges they face. Pinterest offers an inspiration-led platform, strong product capabilities, and experience across global markets. By working closely together, we can identify opportunities earlier and develop strategies that are better aligned with each advertiser’s business goals.
For example, when we introduced Pinterest to Chinese furniture brands, I could really feel their excitement. Pinterest is a particularly natural fit for them: people come to the platform to find home inspiration, plan their spaces, explore different styles, and gradually make purchase decisions. This gives brands an opportunity to connect with consumers earlier in their decision-making journey, using their products, creativity, and brand stories to reach global audiences who are actively looking for inspiration.
That is one of the parts of my role I enjoy most: helping brands see new possibilities and bringing Chinese products and creativity to audiences around the world in a way that feels inspiring and relevant.
Can you take us through a typical day in your life at Pinterest — from how you start your morning to the meetings, collaboration, and client work that shape your day?
I usually start my day with a cup of coffee and a quick review of my priorities — the key to-dos and meetings for the day.
The rest of the day is often a mix of agency meetings and internal collaboration. I spend a lot of time listening to the real business question behind what our sales partners and advertisers are asking: What are they trying to achieve? What challenges are they facing? And where might Pinterest create a meaningful opportunity? From there, I work with the right colleagues to turn those conversations into practical, actionable plans.
Some days are more focused on long-term strategy and helping clients explore new possibilities on Pinterest. Other days are about solving a specific business challenge, aligning different teams, or simply making sure important details keep moving forward. That variety is something I really enjoy — no two days are exactly the same.
But one of my favorite parts of the day is actually lunchtime. I’m still in my “new to Singapore” phase, so I love seeing what my colleagues are having for lunch and discovering the city’s food culture one meal at a time. It has become a fun way to get to know both Singapore and my teammates better.
What motivates or inspires you in your work at Pinterest?
Pinterest is a platform built around curiosity and inspiration, and I feel that same spirit in the way we work.
In a fast-changing business environment, especially as we explore new industries and opportunities, there is not always an existing playbook to follow. We need to stay curious and find ways to solve problems. I find it especially motivating that ideas can genuinely move forward here. When I identify an opportunity or believe there may be a better way of working, I feel comfortable sharing my perspective with the team.
Soon after joining Pinterest, I felt a strong sense of trust and openness from my team. They are smart, professional, and generous with their support; people listen thoughtfully, ask constructive questions, and are open to turning a good idea into action. It creates an environment where you do not have to wait for a perfect template before trying something new, and where I feel excited to keep learning, contribute my perspective, and help shape what comes next.

How do you personally use Pinterest to find inspiration? Are there any boards, trends, or recent searches you’ve been excited about?
Since moving to Singapore, I have been especially interested in local food, café recommendations, and short weekend getaways around the region. I enjoy saving ideas to boards so I can come back to them later, whether it is a restaurant I want to try, a travel itinerary, or a visual style that catches my attention.
As we get closer to the end of the year, I’m really looking forward to our annual trend report, Pinterest Predicts 2027. I enjoy seeing how the report turns early signals from searches, saves, and emerging interests into a broader view of what may be next in culture, lifestyle, and consumer behavior.
