Every year, starting September 15, we come together at Pinterest to celebrate Latiné Heritage Month and honor the rich cultures and contributions of Latin American communities around the world. Latiné creativity and resilience have sparked innovation everywhere, from art and music to technology and storytelling, building the vibrant connections that unite us across borders.

This year, our theme Hecho a Mano or Feito à mão, is a tribute to everything crafted with care, intention, and heart. It’s a celebration of work that begins in the hands: in workshops, studios, homes, and much more, where every detail matters and stories are passed from generation to generation. At Pinterest, this spirit is at the core of how we build our teams, our product, and our community. We believe inspiration begins with authenticity and grows when we share our craft with others.

How We Celebrate

At Pinterest, we’re proud to create a space where Latiné cultures flourish. From fashion and sports to music, beauty, wellness, and cuisine, our creators and community bring new inspiration every day, whether it’s through playlists honoring Latiné sounds, recipe boards that celebrate ancestral flavors, or spotlights on voices shaping what’s next.

We’re also continuing to uplift Latiné-owned businesses and brands throughout the US with our updated Business Guide, a resource that helps employees find and support entrepreneurs in their own neighborhoods. It’s one more way we can encourage connection and give back: hecho a mano, feito à mão, one story at a time.

How We’re Bringing Hecho a Mano to Life

Throughout September and October, we’re continuing to bring our value of Create Belonging to life with events designed to connect, inspire, and celebrate. From LHM volunteer opportunities to cultural playlists, and book clubs, our month is full of ways to connect and celebrate. With music shows, fun games, workshops, and spotlights on Latiné-owned businesses, every experience is thoughtfully crafted to honor Latiné culture and bring us together, no matter where we are.

These celebrations invite all Pinterest employees and allies to participate, share their stories, and come together as a community. Our hope is that as we honor what’s “hecho a mano” we also nurture belonging and pride, making every corner of Pinterest with the vibrant spirit of Latiné heritage.

Let’s celebrate what we create together, crafted with care, built with heart, and inspired by each other.
