On September 15, Pinterest begins a month-long celebration that centers Latiné voices, stories and traditions. Latin American communities have shaped culture across continents, through art, music, technology, food, language and more, building the connections that inspire people everywhere and every day on our platform.
This year, our theme Unidos Somos +, meaning “together, we are more,” celebrates the power of coming together. It is a tribute to the warmth of our gatherings, the richness of our shared roots and the understanding that we are stronger together. At Pinterest, that spirit of collaboration shapes everything we touch. By acting as one, we cultivate a space where creativity thrives, community multiplies and every Pin contributes to a richer, more inspired world.
Latiné cultures are woven into the everyday experience of our product and community. From football and street style, to music, beauty, lifestyle, and food, our creators and Pinterest users bring their lived experiences to life in ways that travel across borders. Boards that revive family recipes, Pins that honor regional traditions, and content that spotlights emerging Latiné voices all show how we come together (Unidos Somos +) when we share what inspires us.
Throughout September and October, we’re celebrating through experiences that reflect our core value of Create Belonging and honoring our shared roots. From learning sessions and book and film discussions, to fireside chats and spotlights of Latiné-owned businesses, employees will connect with each other in a variety of meaningful ways.
These moments are designed to spark conversation, deepen understanding and build connections across teams and locations. Open to all Pinterest employees, this celebration is an invitation to come together as part of a larger Latin@ community. Through Unidos Somos +, we aim to strengthen visibility and belonging, so that the spirit of Latiné heritage reaches every corner of Pinterest, all year long.
