Pinterest is uniquely positioned across the consumer journey – from inspiration and discovery through consideration, purchase, and long-term customer relationships. Pinners’ commercial intent and engagement create valuable signals that can help advertisers better understand and improve their performance. This role will define how Pinterest applies identity, conversion, and measurement signals to help advertisers identify and acquire new customers, measure incremental outcomes, and optimize campaign bidding. By connecting measurement insights with campaign decisioning, this leader will help advertisers maximize business outcomes and strengthen Pinterest’s differentiation in the ads ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a Staff-level product leader with substantial experience in ads measurement, optimization, or adjacent advertising technology. They deeply understand how advertisers set growth objectives, distinguish acquisition from retention, evaluate incrementality, and translate insights into campaign and bidding decisions. They have strong quantitative and technical fluency across attribution, experimentation, causal measurement, customer-lifecycle signals, and ads optimization. They excel at partnering cross-functionally with engineering, data science, research, PMM, sales, and other teams to transform complex signals and methodologies into credible, actionable, privacy-durable, and scalable products.
What you’ll do:
- Own the strategy and end-to-end execution for products that apply Pinterest’s identity, conversion, and measurement signals to improve advertiser outcomes across new-customer acquisition, incrementality, and bidding optimization.
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, design, research, PMM, sales, partnerships, legal, privacy, and policy/integrity to deliver solutions with strong product-market fit, methodological rigor, regulatory compliance, and long-term durability.
- Build a comprehensive suite of products that helps drive incremental reach and performance for Pinterest advertisers.
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years of experience working as a Product Manager or in a related role, including 3–5+ years of substantial ads or marketing measurement experience.
- Strong evidence of the ability to define new products and strategies in an ambiguous space and execute from ideation and multi-quarter roadmaps through go-to-market and adoption.
- Deep understanding of identity and first-person data, how advertisers establish objectives and deploy tactics, and how they evaluate outcomes across awareness, consideration, intent, conversion, and long-term value.
- Experience working with engineering, data science, analytics, research, or PMM cross-functional teams and a strong ability to empathize with, anticipate the needs of, and collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Strong quantitative judgment and understanding of attribution, incrementality, experimentation, brand lift, conversion lift, and measurement tradeoffs.
- Deep understanding of business metrics and tradeoffs in the context of online platforms or multi-sided ecosystems.
- Preferred but not required: Experience with creator, influencer, branded-content, social, video, commerce, or organic-and-paid measurement.
- Preferred but not required: Experience building advertiser-facing measurement products or working with advertisers, agencies, creators, marketing science teams, or measurement partners.
- Preferred but not required: Experience designing, running, or analyzing incrementality or lift experiments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
