Pinterest has 40+ Impact Ambassadors, who are regional leads that support planning and execution of volunteer work within local communities. For World Mental Health Day this year, we asked a few of our Impact Ambassadors to share how they invest in their own mental health, ways that Pinterest supports their emotional well-being and how they’re recognizing the day with activations in their local offices.
Carmela Imbimbo, Administrative Business Partner II, Paris

I am deeply committed to maintaining a healthy work–life balance. Pinterest’s For You Fund benefit gives me a meaningful way to invest in my well‑being and leisure activities. I’ve used it to purchase bike accessories and to attend sports and theatre classes. Most regularly, I’ve funded drawing courses at the Paris School of Fine Arts (Beaux‑Arts de Paris), which helps me recharge, sharpen my focus, and nurture everyday creativity. Pinterest also supports us through the excellent Pinside Out community, a chapter of PinAble that focuses on mental health and wellbeing—I enjoy reading their “tip of the day” on Slack and joining their virtual meditation sessions.
At the Paris office, we’ve organized several well‑being activations to reduce stress, including individual Amma chair massages and morning team runs to kickstart the day. Since mental health is inextricably linked with physical health, we recently launched a one‑month fitness challenge to connect playfully across locations (Dublin and Paris) and earn points that allow the winners to make a charity donation via Pinterest Gives, our donation platform.

Pinterest's For You Fund doubles as my self-care budget – I use it for a membership at the gym and language classes that I look forward to every week. I'm also grateful for family-friendly benefits that help ease the mental load of being a parent and that allow me to be fully present both at work and at home, no trade-offs required. For World Mental Health Day this year, our Singapore team is swapping screens for soil at a community garden, doing a little good for local biodiversity while giving our minds some green, quiet space (pictured above)!
Jamie Sayvong, Sr. Client Account Manager, Sydney

Days can get busy, but I know I feel my absolute best when I prioritise activities that benefit both my mind and body, whether that's swimming, boxing, reformer Pilates or tackling a tough HIIT session. I always walk away feeling recharged. One of my favourite things to do, especially during spring and summer in Sydney, is taking a morning walk along Balmoral Beach or Cremorne Point. Starting my day this way helps me clear my mind and energises me to approach the day with clarity and confidence.
I’m also a huge fan of the Calm app, which Pinterest provides free to all employees. It’s an invaluable tool for maintaining balance, supporting my well-being, and helping me get a good night’s sleep.
As part of our World Mental Health Day activations, the Sydney Office will host a conversation on men’s mental health with a clinical psychologist, researcher, and leading men’s mental health expert.
