We’re looking for an influential and highly collaborative Lead People Tech Specialist with 7+ years of progressive HR technology experience, including deep expertise in recruiting systems, Workday, and integrated People technology ecosystems. This person should bring hands-on experience implementing, optimizing, and supporting recruiting platforms, with a strong understanding of requisition management, candidate workflows, interview processes, offers, onboarding handoffs, recruiting data, compliance considerations, and the downstream impact recruiting technology has across the employee lifecycle. Experience leading or partnering on integrations between recruiting systems and Workday is especially important, including requirements gathering, data mapping, testing, issue resolution, launch readiness, and post-go-live support.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, cross-functional partner who can connect people, process, data, and technology at scale. They should be comfortable working closely with Recruiting, Recruiting Operations, People Operations, HRIS, IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and senior business stakeholders to define scalable solutions, influence decisions, and drive alignment across complex initiatives. We’re looking for someone who can operate as both a strategic advisor and hands-on execution lead — simplifying complexity, mentoring others, strengthening governance and documentation, and ensuring People Tech solutions are adopted successfully and deliver lasting business value.
Role Description:
Lead People Tech Specialists shape and optimize the future of our people technology landscape, supporting our People programs and processes with strategic and scalable solutions. As a pivotal member and thought leader of the HR People Tech team, you’ll orchestrate complex, cross-functional projects, partner with diverse stakeholders to identify opportunities, provide technical mentorship, and drive organizational transformation through best-in-class technology adoption and stewardship.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver transformative tech solutions for highly complex, multi-stakeholder projects, with a focus on Workday and integrated People technologies.
- Assess broad business needs and set strategic direction for technology solutions, balancing long-term vision with effective execution.
- Lead strategy, implementation, optimization, and support for recruiting technology platforms, ensuring solutions improve recruiter productivity, candidate experience, hiring manager experience, data quality, and operational scale.
- Partner closely with Recruiting and Recruiting Operations to assess current-state workflows, identify pain points, and design scalable future-state processes across requisitions, candidates, interviews, offers, and onboarding handoffs.
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for People Tech, facilitating alignment and prioritization across teams and initiatives.
- Cultivate a knowledge-sharing culture by mentoring teammates, developing advanced training resources, and enabling successful system adoption and change management.
- Champion and enhance best practices across project management, security, documentation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure reliable, compliant, and high-impact outcomes.
- Shape the team’s use of AI toward high-impact People Tech work by identifying and testing promising use cases through focused experiments with measurable impact goals; embed successful practices into team processes and workflows while ensuring critical evaluation, clear ownership, responsible use, and appropriate guardrails against over-reliance on AI.
What we’re looking for:
- Influential HR technology expert with 7+ years of progressive experience, deeply skilled in Workday and HR system integration across the talent lifecycle.
- Proven experience implementing, enhancing, or supporting ATS/recruiting platforms, with a strong understanding of requisition management, candidate workflows, interview processes, offers, onboarding handoffs, recruiting compliance, and recruiter/hiring manager experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading or partnering on integrations between recruiting systems and Workday, including requirements gathering, data mapping, configuration, testing, issue resolution, launch readiness, and post-go-live support.
- Visionary and strategic thinker with a proven ability to connect people, process, and technology at an enterprise level.
- Inspiring partner and mentor celebrated for enabling collaboration, developing others, and building trust across functions.
- Exceptional communicator who simplifies the complex, influences decisions, and drives consensus among senior stakeholders.
- Proactive innovator who anticipates needs, embraces change, and sets new standards for People Tech excellence.
- Indicators of strong performance in this position are:
- Leads high-impact recruiting technology initiatives that improve recruiter experience, candidate experience, process efficiency, data quality, and downstream Workday connectivity.
- Successfully drives integrations between recruiting platforms and Workday, ensuring accurate data flow, strong testing discipline, clear ownership, and sustainable support model
- Successfully guides and delivers complex, stable, and impactful technology solutions at scale, ensuring seamless execution and timely support for cross-functional partners.
- Proactively drives alignment and collaboration across senior stakeholders, maintains clear communication and thorough documentation, and ensures lasting business value through robust training and adoption support.
- Establishes strong governance, prioritization, and operational practices that enable the People Tech team to scale effectively across recruiting and broader People technology needs
