Pinterest Gives: Empowering employees to impact communities

Through Pinterest Gives, we encourage and support our team in their efforts to give back to causes they’re passionate about. Today, you’ll learn more about our Pinterest Gives program and read statements about giving back from our employees. 

Pinterest Gives Program 

At Pinterest, one of our core values is Act as One. We put energy into helping each other, and that includes working as a unit to serve our communities - both online and offline. Pinterest Gives is our team’s one-stop-shop for supporting and contributing to causes in an impactful way. We’re bringing Act as One to life each time we donate, volunteer and support causes around the world. Pinterest Gives shares causes and access to volunteer opportunities, allows employees to submit donations for company matching and connects employees with colleagues to discuss and share photos from impact activities. 

Pinterest provides all full-time, benefits-eligible employees with $1,000 of donation matching budget to give to the causes they want to support and are passionate about. In addition, 40 hours of volunteer time off is provided to full-time, benefits-eligible employees to serve within their communities, whether that’s with a local nonprofit, school or place of worship.
