People Behind the Product: Building the Pinterest Manifest Station

a building with a ferris wheel in the background

In 2024, the Pinterest team packed their iconic festival outfits and headed to the Coachella Valley to bring the Pinterest Manifest Station to life. This immersive experience invited festival-goers to transform into their most creative selves with the help of expert fashion and beauty stylists. As we gear up for Coachella 2025, members on the planning team are reflecting on the magic of building the Pinterest Manifest Station.

Diana Fischman, Lead Creative Producer

Hi! I’m Diana, a Lead Creative Producer at Pinterest. I’m a part-time cheerleader, fortune teller, and problem solver—but ultimately as a team leader and facilitator, I aim to help people do their best work. As part of the core team working on Coachella 2024, that meant I collaborated with my teammates across the company to unify goals and produce the surround sound launch of the Pinterest Manifest Station in just under three months. This included the development of an overarching campaign concept and visual identity, which powered a range of static and motion assets across on-platform content and social channels. I further collaborated with our experiential producers and onsite production team to capture photo and video content featuring festival goers as they engaged with our space in real-time.

While the petals on my flower crown have long since faded, the opportunity to contribute to and promote our first-ever activation at Coachella is one I won’t soon forget. I’m cheering (very loudly) from the sidelines as we work to do it all again this year.

Arianna Thomas, Communications

Hi, I’m Arianna and I’m on the Consumer Communications team here at Pinterest! When I started at Pinterest four years ago, attending Coachella was not on my bingo card. However, getting the opportunity to lead the communications strategy for our first trip to Coachella was so exciting. Our goal was to give Pinterest users the inspiration to plan their festival fits and meet them where they are at the festival. We helped bring the platform to life in the desert and created a full circle experience. On the ground at the festival, I worked with our executive team to film content for internal communications, coordinated live press interviews, and more. It was an amazing team effort to make our first year at Coachella such a success!

Ariel Quaglia, Experiential Programming

Hi all! I sit on the House of Creative team, and I’m an Experiential Marketing Manager driving programming strategy.

Programming can mean different things to different people, so more specifically, my role on Coachella was to: influence the creative build of the brand activation at the festival, drive our brand storytelling in tandem with the creative and consumer marketing team, and to establish the attendee experience on the ground. I worked closely with our Programming & Originals and Social teams to create connective tissue from our on-platform promotion and editorial content to our in-person activation experience so that Pinterest users who leveraged the platform for pre-festival planning and saving were able to see how our trends and festival content came to life. I also directly managed the relationship with our stylists and talent partners which is one of my favorite elements of my job.

It was an incredible opportunity to work alongside a multi-faceted and talented team to build our first ever Coachella presence. I can’t wait to see what the team comes up with this year!

Nadia Aminzadeh, Experiential Production

Hello! I sit in the House of Creative and was the Lead Experiential Producer for our Coachella 2024 activation. It was the first time Pinterest had shown up at the festival, using the Consumer Marketing team's brief and the insight that "Music festivals give people permission to free themselves of their everyday identity and play with more creative versions of who they want to be,” we created the Pinterest Manifest Station.

My responsibilities spanned from concept to execution, and included: translating creative concepts into a seamless real-life user experience; production-managing fabrication, materiality specs, and spatial planning; overseeing photo booth output and operations; leading the relationship with our creative production agency to deliver our build, ops, and on-the-ground logistics. I'm excited to see how our presence at the festival evolves this year!
