Hi! My name is Anita Singh and I am a Recruiting Lead based out of Dallas, TX. I hire across our Global Business Organization, with a focus on our US Enterprise and Mid-Market Sales teams. If you’re exploring a role within Pinterest’s broader sales organization, one of the best ways to prepare is to understand the qualities we value most across our teams. While every role is different, there are a few themes that consistently matter: how you think, how you sell, how you influence, and how you adapt in a fast-moving environment.

My advice to candidates considering a role here would be to make sure your experience and examples clearly reflect the four themes below.
Be fluent in outcomes
In today’s environment, it isn’t enough to state “I grew the account.” We want to understand exactly how you have done that.
When preparing your examples, ask yourself:
What was the situation and how did it change? What was the impact of your contributions? How did you influence, measure and scale the outcome?
If you can’t give exact numbers, use ranges that accurately describe the impact of your work.
Challenger mindset
A challenger mindset means the ability to create demand, not just respond to it. Pinterest is a unique product; the best sellers teach clients something new, challenge limiting assumptions, and connect Pinterest's value to solve real business problems. Those strategic conversations reshape the opportunity into generating revenue.
When preparing your examples, ask yourself:
What is your perspective of Pinterest in the market? How have you turned a no to a yes? How do you shift an advertiser’s thinking?
Get creative
We are looking for someone who can navigate around corners, connect Pinterest to real life moments, and pitch ideas that feel both fresh and insight-led.

What was a big bet you took and what was the outcome? How did you sell it through?
AI forward
AI is at the core of how we serve users, support advertisers, and create more efficiencies in all of our roles at Pinterest.

How do you improve your work quality using AI tools? How do you make the judgement when to use AI? How did you scale these efforts? How would you write creative prompts?
