Pinterest is excited to announce a major enhancement to our new work model, PinFlex, effective July 1st. This new benefit will allow eligible full-time employees to spend up to three months working outside of their country of employment over a rolling 12-month period.
We listened to feedback shared by employees and added this flexibility to empower everyone to do their most impactful and inspired work. Our Pinners are global, and we know that having worldly perspectives in our company to support them—both at the technological level and the human level–will enable us to deliver on our mission to bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love.
“I am so looking forward to taking advantage of this benefit by planning an exciting trip that I have been dreaming about, but I have never had the opportunity to take. I’m thrilled to be able to truly see and travel a country, and still do the day job that I love.” – Becca Dealy, Technical Recruiter, Product
We’re excited about the opportunities this new benefit will create for our employees around the world. At Pinterest, we aim to be the most inspiring place on the internet, and that starts with our employees who work toward fulfilling our mission every day. All full-time employees with at least 6 months tenure are eligible to work outside of their country of employment for up to 90 days over a rolling 12-month period per country. Employees who have been employed for less than 6 months may work outside of their country of employment for up to 30 days total.
