We’re looking for an experienced comms pro to join our team and help build programs that tell our corporate story. Everything from how we make policy decisions, to what makes our internal culture unique, to the causes we’re supporting with our social impact efforts. Working with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders, you will play a big role in helping us explain how Pinterest is delivering inspiration to people all over the world.  

What you'll do:

  • Help develop the corporate communications strategy and drive comprehensive programs that reach a wide-variety of external stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally to proactively respond to issues that may impact our employees, Pinners, product, and corporate reputation 
  • Develop, write, and land creative, thoughtful and impactful stories in top tier publications and with third party influencers to advance Pinterest values
  • Work with our global communications and marketing teams on campaigns to generate awareness of Pinterest
  • Provide counsel and support to protect and enhance Pinterest’s corporate reputation

What we're looking for:

  • 7+ years experience working in communications/corporate communications (in-house, in government or at a PR agency)
  • Proven track record of moving fast, being entrepreneurial, and getting results that matter
  • Significant experience working in both proactive and reactive communications
  • An avid consumer of news, ranging from product launches to policy updates
  • Have close media contacts at top tier publications and online outlets
