Pinterest’s Small Business team connects small businesses with their customers and helps them grow.  We’re looking for an experienced leader to oversee all aspects of our US SMB Account Management function of 100+ outsourced vendor Account Managers  In this role, you’ll drive operational consistency through our sales motion, building sales programs and processes that will impact thousands of small business customers across the US. Success in this position requires a strong ability to lead and inspire a team, sales, and analytical skills to make data-driven decisions, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a highly dynamic team environment.

What you'll do:

  • Define the operational sales strategy for the expanding US Account Management function. This includes developing/standardizing operational systems to allow for Account Managers to operate at scale
  • Lead a high-performing team of Account Managers to deliver against quarterly revenue targets through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance
  • Execute and lead strategy across the US book of business, while partnering closely with our US Agency Account Management team and Canada Account Management teams
  • Clearly, communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders across time zones
  • Motivate, mentor and develop sales talent (managers and individual contributors), creating a positive culture
  • Work cross-functionally and build cohesive partnerships with internal stakeholders including product, sales operations, and engineering
  • Establish Account Management KPIs that allow live time measurement against key quarterly OKRS (objectives and key results)
    Manage relationship with Pinterest’s vendor partner

 

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in sales or online advertising
  • 2+ years of sales leadership experience preferred
  • A data-driven leader with the ability to lead large teams against aggressive goals
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of inspiring others
  • Experience in process management, operations management, understanding how to grow and scale businesses
  • Ability to extract insights from data to inform strategic decisions and translate to an action plan
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
  • Experience working with outsourced vendors is a plus
  • Fluent in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and other sales productivity software
