The Sales Strategy and Operations (SS&O) team is a key partner organization for Pinterest’s advertising sales leaders across the world. As trusted advisors to the sales organization, we drive growth and scale through objective analysis, operations & planning and strategic initiatives. Team members are experts in business strategy, operations and analytical and strategic thinking. They are pragmatic and results-oriented.

This is a new role on the SS&O team focused on empowering sales leadership and the broader sales organization with self-serve access to data and insights. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining scaled sales analytics solutions. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with sales leaders and SS&O team members to define key sales/business metrics and priority analyses which should be scaled to the organization.
  • Develop data infrastructure (data pipelines, reports) and other tools (Tableau, Salesforce) to make sales analytics easier and more impactful.
  • Maintain and improve existing sales analytics dashboards, and develop new analytics solutions based on evolving business needs.
  • Enable self-serve access to key business drivers, trends and operating metrics via building dashboards and reports. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Strategic Finance, Business Intelligence, and Customer Success. 
  • Lead projects, see around corners and provide thought partnership to your team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • BA/BS degree in quantitative or analytical major (engineering, mathematics, accounting, economics)
  • 5-7+ years of professional experience in a technology/media company
  • Understanding of sales and digital advertising platforms and working knowledge of sales systems and tools.  
  • Strong data analytics skills (SQL, Tableau) and experience working with large data sets. 
  • Ability to visualize complex data sets to drive insights and action.
  • Passion for building new solutions and enabling analysis at scale to drive action.
  • Proven ability to be successful in a complex, fast-paced environment. Organized, detail-oriented and strategically focused. Creative problem-solving.
