Pinterest is searching for a functional business systems analyst to help grow and scale our People tech processes and systems. We’re looking for candidates who have experience in HR systems analysis, solutions design, process improvement, functional implementation, and support. This role will focus on expanding and deepening our Workday footprint, as well as implementing and supporting other tools and processes across the People function.  This is a regular, full time position based in San Francisco.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate and document requests 
  • Evaluate existing and new technology alignment with needs and make recommendations for our strategic technology and functionality roadmaps
  • Redefine existing business processes to better utilize existing or new technology
  • Work with internal stakeholders including Payroll, IT, Recruiting and Compensation teams to deliver enhancements, launch annual processes and implement new technology 
  • Respond to Workday report requests
  • Manage test cycles and drive issue resolution
  • Configure and maintain business processes in Workday and other systems
  • Prep our internal teams for the changes via communications, training, and documentation
  • Provide analytical and real time support on all tools and processes people technology related

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of functional experience across HR technology and HR processes, including:
    • 2+ years experience in Workday, including configuration of business processes
    • 2+ years experience in other HR technology such as ATS, performance management, and compensation systems
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between processes, operations, systems, and solutions
  • An executor with a scrappy, “find a way to get it done” mentality and strong attention to detail who is willing to jump in when asked
  • A superb communicator, who can translate business needs into technical and process solutions
  • People who are passionate about scaling operations, processes and tools in a rapidly changing environment
