The Advertiser Operations and Strategy team accelerates revenue from ads and quality ad content on Pinterest via automation, operational and strategic guidance. The team achieves this vision by helping merchants and advertisers activate, optimize, and increase their advertising footprint on Pinterest. Members of the team are strongly cross-functional, sitting between sales, operations, product, and engineering. In this position, they understand, automate, and scale scross-functional workflows and processes. In 2020, a new team is being set up from scratch within Advertiser Operations and Strategy to work on merchant verification. The team will be made up of technical specialists who will identify, verify, and onboard trustworthy merchants. The Merchant Operations Manager role will lead this multi-location, global team and will report directly to the Head of Global Advertiser Operations and Strategy. The right candidate will be an experienced people manager who can strategize with senior leaders, understands tech, loves to coach and develop individuals, and is an energetic, passionate and strategic voice and partner with the Sales and Product leadership teams. This is a multi-faceted, fast-paced job in a start-up environment so flexibility, data-driven mindset, a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor are a must.
