We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with experience in digital advertising to establish our strategy in a new market, build and execute operations, and generate data-driven insights to help our global advertisers, big and small, get discovered by millions of people looking for things to plan, buy and do. This is a critical role as you will be partnering directly with the Sales org and responsible for driving the Media Operations program fully in LATAM.  You will address the needs of a growing Sales organization - finding insights and making recommendations to improve our operations, influence product and engineering roadmaps, and work directly with our sales teams to help make Pinterest even better.

What you’ll do:

  • Holistically own your Pinterest LATAM market who will responsible for building and launching the Media Ops program from the ground up
  • Engage and influence with the Country Manager and Sales teams directly and enable their success by increasing Seller productivity
  • Accountable for strategic initiatives and overall performance of Media Ops program adoption and execution
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Sales to maximize Seller productivity, activate revenue, improve advertiser performance and accelerate revenue growth at scale through Media Ops program
  • Identify operational pain points; use data to size, prioritize and recommend solutions
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to facilitate the successful execution of product launches
  • Advise leadership on ways to improve our operational models, recommend processes changes, systems, and workflow automation to improve the Pinterest services offered to advertisers
  • Develop new programs that address the specific needs of the LATAM market by understanding Pinterest products, requirements, and tools that are required by sophisticated advertisers to accelerate same-store growth
  • Responsible for executing, measuring, and sharing in region performance results

What we’re looking for:

  • Senior presence, ability to clearly and consistently work side-by-side across functions and departments synthesizing multiple points of view into a coherent action plan. Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is a genuinely collaborative team player
  • Understanding of processes for managing digital advertising campaigns and the foundations to setting advertisers up for success
  • Ability to manage through ambiguous and subjective situations, including balancing strategic orientation and operational efficiency to ensure we deliver what is “right” for the customer
  • Analytical and process-oriented, comfortable working with large data sets and making data-driven decisions. Ability to think both creatively and critically, willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
  • Passion for Pinterest’s mission, supporting businesses and improving the advertising experience
  • Specific skills: Advanced Excel modeling required, building business cases and narratives via PowerPoint and verbally. SQL knowledge preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree; recent MBA grad preferred. Experience in the ads/adtech space
  • Fluent in Portuguese
