Scaling Pinterest’s ads business and enabling a seamless Shopping experience is one of our highest priorities as a company. This leader will be instrumental to help build the infrastructure that enables Pinterest to monetize from shopping. 83% of weekly Pinners have made a purchase based on content they saw from brands on Pinterest so there is much more work to be done in enabling a seamless experience for merchants to enable a great shopping experience for Pinners!
You will own the end to end experience for merchants, from onboarding to running campaigns. This work has historically been spread across different engineering teams, and the need to consolidate these initiatives under one leader will allow us to progress the product forward with a singular vision. We're looking for a Head of Merchant and Monetization Formats Engineering that will lead a large distributed team across multiple locations.
This is a full-time position that will be managing remote, distributed teams with some travel and can be based in multiple locations including the San Francisco Bay Area or Seattle.
