We're looking for an innovative and results driven Head of Executive Recruiting to lead the strategy and hiring of future leaders and executives that will build the technology and business required to scale Pinterest to the next level. Reporting into the Head of Global Talent Acquisition, you'll be responsible for leading all of our Sr Leadership recruiting across all functional areas of our business.   You will work closely with business leaders, HRBPs and the broader Recruiting team to set and develop talent strategies that meet the global growth demands of the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Work with leadership and cross-functional partners to understand current and future talent needs, and develop proactive and forward-thinking solutions to executive resourcing.
  • Run point on strategic executive searches for Pinterest.  Manage full-cycle recruiting process for critical roles, balancing velocity, diversity, and thoroughness.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with executives, engineering leaders, other recruiting leaders, HRBPs, compensation, legal, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Innovate on ways to build strong leadership pipelines, evolve existing processes and playbooks and develop creative engagement strategies.
  • Define the vision and strategy for Pinterest’s leadership and executive recruiting team. Set priorities and goals to hold the team accountable for execution.
  • Build and continuously develop a high-performing executive recruiting team, while instilling best practices and process excellence.

What we're looking for:

  • A recruiting leader with experience formulating a hiring vision, anticipating issues and continuously improving quality and velocity for leadership roles. 
  • A player & coach - someone who enjoys digging in and developing the craft of recruiting while teaching others and sharing experiences to make those on the team better.
  • A closer and creative problem solver - finds solutions that bridge candidate career motivations and interests with the needs of the business.  A track record of implementing innovative candidate engagement approaches to educate, activate, convert and close top talent.
  • Experience with and a passion for engaging and hiring underrepresented leadership talent, as well as partnering closely with internal Diversity and Inclusion teams.
  • Ideally experience hiring top tier passive leadership talent at a technology company.  In-house experience as well as executive search background preferred but not necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience working with business partners across the organization to influence hiring decisions and process improvements - founders, executive teams, HR leaders, compensation, people ops and external agencies.
