It’s time for us to more boldly tell the story to the outside that we know to be true on the inside: inspiration matters. We’re looking for an inspiring, globally-minded Head of Global Consumer Marketing to help Pinterest bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love. Reporting to the CMO and working closely with cross-functional leaders across the company, you’ll lead and mentor a small but mighty team of marketers, campaign managers, social media experts, storytellers, and agency partners in clarifying and then amplifying our story to the world. This is a role like no other, at an especially exciting moment in Pinterest’s history. Our business is thriving, our user base continues to grow, and we believe the impact of this role can fuel our company to grow in unprecedented ways. You’ll be in a position to take a brand that’s beloved by those who use us, and misunderstood by those who don’t, and reshape the narrative to increase comprehension while underscoring our purpose. You’ll be able to tap into important social issues to define Pinterest’s role in the world, especially at a time where people are rightfully questioning the role technology plays in their lives. And you’ll be able to ensure we are not simply reacting to culture, but indeed striving to shape it ourselves, for the better. This is a full-time position based in SF, but charged with building an iconic, global brand.
