At Pinterest we are building a world-class sales team, enabling our largest and most strategic partners to best utilize Pinterest advertising products to grow their business. As the Country Manager, UK, you'll be responsible for setting forth the overall sales strategy for the market and working closely with Sales and Ad Product leadership, Engineering, Marketing, Creative, PR, Insights, Measurement, and Business Development teams to drive revenue growth for our business. You'll build and lead a team in-region as we establish our presence and build our ads business in the UK. If this sounds like fun, we’d love to hear from you!  

What you’ll do:

  • Lead our sales strategy and execution for the UK at Pinterest
  • Develop market and competitive assessments to identify and drive new opportunities for Pinterest in the UK
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop a market strategy that enables Pinterest to win the market by meeting partner marketing objectives, scaling partner media investment, and creating meaningful and sustainable revenue growth
  • Build on established relationships and develop new relationships with industry CEOs, CMOs, and other key executive decision-makers in the UK market
  • Shape the future of our Sales organization by building, training and motivating a high performing sales team
  • Act as an external spokesperson and evangelize the Pinterest brand in the UK
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations and Measurement teams to analyze data trends and client performance, as to scale shared learnings and best practices to grow client’s business through Pinterest solutions
  • Consult with Product Marketing, Ad Product, Insights, Creative Strategy, Agency, SMB, Marketing, PR and Engineering teams to influence product development and support in your region 

What we’re looking for:

  • 15+ years of experience in the digital media industry with 5+ years of management experience
  • Deep understanding and established network in the consumer internet market in the UK
  • Capability to work cross-functionally with global teams across partnerships, product, engineering, business development, marketing, and other teams
  • Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies
  • Strong ability to lead and mentor a team of individual contributors in order to advance team performance, health, and culture
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a start-up environment with a passion for Pinterest
  • Proven success as an executive sales leader across revenue strategy, sales productivity, and industry partnerships
  • Experience managing team through operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes, and systems
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to translate insights, product information, and data into key client objectives
