Pinterest's mission is to help empower people to discover things they love and inspire them to go do those things in real life.  We are building a world-class sales team, enabling our largest and most strategic partners to best utilize Pinterest advertising products to grow their business. Reporting to Jon Kaplan, our global head of sales, you'll be responsible for setting forth the overall sales strategy for the market and working closely with cross-functional partners to drive revenue growth for our emerging business in LATAM. You'll build and lead a team in-region as we establish our presence and build our ads business in the LATAM region.

What you’ll do

  • Lead our sales strategy and execution for LATAM at Pinterest
  • Develop market and competitive assessments to identify and drive new opportunities for Pinterest in LATAM
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop a market strategy that enables Pinterest to win the market by meeting partner marketing objectives, scaling partner media investment, and creating meaningful and sustainable revenue growth
  • Build on established relationships and develop new relationships with industry CEOs, CMOs, and other key executive decision-makers in the LATAM market
  • Shape the future of our LATAM Sales organization by building, training and motivating a high performing sales team
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations and Measurement teams to analyze data trends and client performance, as to scale shared learnings and best practices to grow client’s business through Pinterest solutions
  • Act as an external spokesperson and evangelize our brand in LATAM

Who you are

  • 15+ years of experience in the digital media industry with 10+ years of management experience
  • Proven success as an executive sales leader across revenue strategy, sales productivity, and industry partnerships
  • Deep understanding and established network in the consumer internet market in LATAM including an understanding of sales outsourcing model typically used in the region
  • Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies
  • Strong focus on operational excellence by having introduced new performance measures, processes, and systems

  • Outstanding go-to-market strategy and operational rigor for the successful execution of the sales strategy
  • Strong leadership skills that inspire, drive urgency and challenges a team of individual contributors to think big and drive transformational thinking to advance team performance, health, and culture.  
  • Strong cross-functional partnership to drive discussions with the product and engineering teams driving alignment. Translating business needs into the roadmap.  Have opinions about the technology trade-offs 
  • Strong influencing skills to build and direct sales priorities and decisions
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to translate insights, product information, and data into key client objectives 
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a start-up environment and incubating new businesses 
  • A passion for Pinterest

Who you’ll work with

  • Sales and Ad Product leadership, Engineering, Marketing, Creative, PR, Insights, Measurement, and Business Development teams
  • Consult with Product Marketing, Ad Product, Insights, Creative Strategy, Agency, SMB, Marketing, PR and Engineering teams to influence product development and support in your region
