Reporting to Jon Kaplan, our Global Head of Sales, you'll be responsible for setting forth the overall sales strategy for the market and working closely with cross-functional partners to drive revenue growth for our emerging business in LATAM. You'll build and lead a team in-region as we establish our presence and build our ads business in the LATAM region.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead our sales strategy and execution for LATAM at Pinterest
  • Develop market and competitive assessments to identify and drive new opportunities for Pinterest in LATAM
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop a market strategy that enables Pinterest to win the market by meeting partner marketing objectives, scaling partner media investment, and creating meaningful and sustainable revenue growth
  • Build on established relationships and develop new relationships with industry CEOs, CMOs, and other key executive decision-makers in the LATAM market
  • Shape the future of our LATAM Sales organization by building, training and motivating a high performing sales team
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations and Measurement teams to analyze data trends and client performance, as to scale shared learnings and best practices to grow client’s business through Pinterest solutions
  • Act as an external spokesperson and evangelize our brand in LATAM
  • You'll work with Sales and Ad Product leadership, Engineering, Marketing, Creative, PR, Insights, Measurement, and Business Development teams
  • Consult with Product Marketing, Ad Product, Insights, Creative Strategy, Agency, SMB, Marketing, PR and Engineering teams to influence product development and support in your region

What we're looking for:

  • 15+ years of experience in the digital media industry with 10+ years of management experience
  • Proven success as an executive sales leader across revenue strategy, sales productivity, and industry partnerships
  • Deep understanding and established network in the consumer internet market in LATAM including an understanding of sales outsourcing model typically used in the region
  • Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies
  • Strong focus on operational excellence by having introduced new performance measures, processes, and systems
  • Outstanding go-to-market strategy and operational rigor for the successful execution of the sales strategy
  • Strong leadership skills that inspire, drive urgency and challenges a team of individual contributors to think big and drive transformational thinking to advance team performance, health, and culture.  
  • Strong cross-functional partnership to drive discussions with the product and engineering teams driving alignment. Translating business needs into the roadmap.  Have opinions about the technology trade-offs 
  • Strong influencing skills to build and direct sales priorities and decisions
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to translate insights, product information, and data into key client objectives 
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a start-up environment and incubating new businesses 
  • A passion for Pinterest
