With +518 million Pinners and tens of billions of Pins, there’s a massive supply of data on Pinterest—one of the most interesting data sets in the world. As an Insights Solutions Partner II on the Global Insights Solutions team, you will help design, execute analyses and create data tools to help stakeholders succeed on Pinterest. These projects will teach advertisers and creators about their customers and categories on Pinterest and give recommendations for ad targeting, keywords, and creative. You will create insights that help marketers understand their opportunity on Pinterest and plan their media campaigns based on data and predictive recommendations.
As an Insights Solutions Partner II for Spanish LATAM markets, you will be responsible for understanding business priorities and developing content that contribute to Sales-led revenue and/or deepen strategic advertiser partnerships through custom insights analysis. Working closely with Sales leaders to identify the most significant questions posed by advertisers that can be addressed through data and research, you will ideate and execute insights research projects leveraging internal behavioral data analysis, qualitative/quantitative studies, and syndicated research integration. You will distill findings to actionable recommendations and compelling insights stories.
What you’ll do:
- Solve business challenges through insights that sell the unique value of Pinterest. Work as a contributing member with Insights Solutions colleagues to tell holistic and compelling stories around a wide range of business opportunities on Pinterest.
- Translate data into compelling, actionable narratives that factor in unique stakeholder input and business questions.
- Design and execute the querying and analysis of first party platform data to make recommendations that impact advertisers’ business objectives on Pinterest for key industries (e.g. Retail, CPG, etc) within Mexico (primary focus), Argentina, Chile and Colombia.
- Combining both first party data findings, and analyze third party syndicated data sources (comScore, GlobalWebIndex, Emarketer) for industry perspectives to sell the unique value of Pinterest.
- Leading technical and operational projects and initiatives to scale their impact across other markets, with support from their manager. Collaborating with peers and stakeholders across multiple functions to achieve business objectives.
- Managing effective working relationships with sales (our primary stakeholder), marketing, measurement and creative teams. Acting not only as an analyst but as a business partner to key internal stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of relevant experience using data to solve business challenges and data storytelling to craft engaging and actionable insights for a variety of audiences.
- 3+ years of experience in data querying and manipulation in SQL.
- Ability to connect data analysis to real business questions/objectives in order to impact business decisions.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, and a strong ability to work cross-functionally as well as independently.
- Track record of operating independently, demonstrating data-backed storytelling skills, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized yet engaging manner.
- Experience building slide presentations in Google Slides.
- Experience with the digital space in Mexico is required.
- Experience working with multiple Latin American markets is a plus.
- Experience with executing end-to-end quantitative research is a plus.
- Experience leading programs or initiatives within their team or company.
- An understanding of and passion for Pinterest.
- Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and English (verbal & written fluency required).

In-Office Requirement Statement
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration once per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the Mexico City office.
