As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for numerous complex projects in a fast-paced, and innovative environment. This position will be a key member of a team that works closely with IT Operations, IT Engineering, Corp security and business leaders. As a member of this team, you will work with stakeholders to determine project requirements, develop scope, deliverables and timelines. In addition, you will track tasks, manage accountability, determine and monitor risk and escalate appropriately.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide a measurable, consistent, and “partner-focused” approach to project management, with end-to-end accountability.
  • Responsible for leading the full lifecycle of multiple, simultaneous projects of varying sizes and complexity for highly sophisticated, strategic and business initiatives from proposal through implementation.
  • Develop the overall project plan and manage project operations. Defining and managing project scope, requirements, deliverables, tasks, timelines, resources, dependencies and risks while tracking progress.
  • Manage the project stakeholders, project team, and project schedule. Facilitate project meetings with required teams and stakeholders, including meeting agendas, documentation, and meeting follow-up.
  • Directs and manages communication with multiple cross functional teams through to project completion.
  • Learning a basic understanding of internal systems and processes to bring teams together to accomplish desired goals. Must possess skills to review workflow, documentation and analyze data to identify a solution to a business issue.
  • Responsible for holding yourself and teams accountable by communicating role expectations, timelines and enforcing the project management team’s framework and procedures to maintain consistency and operational excellence.

  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
  • Proven ability to develop a project plan, outlining scope and timeline.
  • Must be able to take supervisory direction, change priorities based upon business needs and work independently when required as well as know when to bring issues and questions to the management team for direction and support.

  • This is a temporary contract position at Pinterest. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed either by our staffing partner (PRO Unlimited) or by an agency supplier partner, and not an employee of Pinterest.
  • All interviews will be scheduled and/or conducted by the Pinterest assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, PRO Unlimited or the agency supplier partner will extend the offer and provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding details.
