One of the highest priorities at Pinterest is to build a world-class shopping experience for Pinners. The Shopping Product team is central to that mission, and is expanding to Toronto! As the manager of the team, you’ll help drive the technical and product strategy for the middle to lower funnel of the shopping journey. You will build product detail pages, product comparison tools, and etc to help Pinners to evaluate projects and make confident purchase decisions. You will work on building a seamless checkout experience to allow Pinners to place orders easily. You’ll have the chance to lead a fun, very collaborative team that is driving tremendous impact for our Pinners!

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the delivery of highly-reliable and easy-to-understand Shopping features for Pinners
  • Collaborate with Design, Product, Data, PMM, and other Engineering teams to shape product design and specifications
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other engineers on the team

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • 6+ years of product engineering experience
  • Experience in leading teams to ship great products on web and mobile
  • Experience in mentoring and leading other engineers
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional partners in a highly collaborative environment
  • Experience with experimentation and data analysis
  • A strong customer focus, and excitement about the ecommerce or social platform space
