We are seeking a motivated and analytical software Release Specialist with a passion for scaling release operations. You’ll be driving Web and Mobile release process, making operational improvements, and driving quality insights that ensure product stability and high-quality experience to hundreds of millions of users

What you’ll do:

  • Work hands-on to drive the deploy of binaries to production (from build to deployment) ensuring quality criterias are met at every stage
  • Support and improve our tools & processes for CI/CD and release management 
  • Work with cross-functional teams against tight deadlines to resolve blocking issues, ensure testing complete, and provide sign-off for the releases
  • Create and deliver useful insights that improve cross-functional efficiency and quality

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years experience in a Software Engineering, Release/Technical Program Management or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Analytical and process driven with a bias toward execution. Experience in risk assessment and solving complex issues
  • Experience using release, quality, and analytical systems (ex. JIRA, SQL, CI/CD systems, Git, Jenkins, Buildkite)

  • This is a temporary contract position at Pinterest. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed either by our staffing partner (PRO Unlimited) and not an employee of Pinterest. 
  • All interviews will be scheduled and/or conducted by the Pinterest assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, PRO Unlimited or the agency supplier partner will extend the offer and provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding details.
