Pinterest role types

At Pinterest, all role types fall into one of three categories to enable employees to work in a flexible environment. As the state of work around the world continues to evolve, our recruiters work with candidates to determine the role type that best fits their life and the needs of the hiring team.

Remote roles

If your role falls in this category then your role can be done without presence in any connection to a Pinterest office location on a weekly basis. You do not have access to the Pinterest office on a regular basis, however remote employees are welcome to drop in to offices if space is available.

If the role is designated as Hybrid, your primary work location is the Pinterest Office where you are currently assigned. Your role will allow for a combination of remote work and in office work and you’re required in the office 1-3 days per week.

If the role has been designated as 100% Office based, the position requires you to be physically in the Pinterest office where you are currently assigned full time as the essential functions of your position and your role can only be done in person.
