Each month, the Growth org helps millions of people around the world find their first inspiring use case on Pinterest. As the Staff Product Manager on the SEO team, you’ll fully own Pinterest’s largest growth channel and spearhead initiatives that offer up the best content we have on the platform to search engines in service of creating a best-in-class user experience for current and future Pinners. You’ll tackle challenging, complex problems at scale and bring the joys of Pinterest to more and more people around the world.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead product vision, strategy, and execution for the SEO team at Pinterest, which is responsible for one of Pinterest’s biggest growth channels
  • Work hand in hand with the sister team that owns the frontend guest user experience to develop a cohesive and high quality landing experience for people coming to Pinterest through SEO
  • Be on the front line of generative AI usage at Pinterest to help bots & users understand the billions of Pins in our content corpus

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong technical background (or prior work experience as a software engineer/data scientist) that lets you dive deep into data and complex technical problems alongside your engineering team
  • Working knowledge of the technical side of SEO (i.e. crawling, indexation, ranking) and data pipelines
  • Strong analytical skills to define product strategy and drive decision making; familiarity and comfort writing your own SQL
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in written and verbal communication
  • Bonus points for prior experience with machine learning, recommendation systems, or generative AI
